- Donuimun in AR
- Donuimun Gate, one of the Eight Gates of Seoul situated in the Fortress Wall, was demolished in 1915 during the Japanese rule of Korea. It was restored after 104 years in 2019 with 4.0 Industry supported by Woomi. In December 2018, Woomi signed the ‘MOU for the digital transformation of cultural assets and revitalization of historic & cultural cities’ with the Cultural Heritage Administration, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Cheil Worldwide. After nine months of co-development with historians, the MOU partners introduced the Donuimun AR app, Donuimun VR, kiosk, and Donuimun Experience Center on August 20, 2019.
- Digital Restoration of Cultural Heritage and History Education Contents Development
- On July 6, 2021, woomihope.org, a foundation funded by Woomi, held a ceremony at Heungbokjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung Palace to sign the MOU for the digital transformation of cultural assets and revitalization of historic & cultural cities with the Cultural Heritage Administration, Seoul Metropolitan Government and Cheil Worldwide. Based on the MOU, the foundation is planning to digitally restore the royal ceremonies of Gyeongbokgung Palace and Gungisi (government office in the Joseon Dynasty) to build Heritage Metaverse, which is expected to become a prevalent experiential education program.
- Woomi Dream Finder
- Woomi Dream Finder is a program to support underprivileged youth in career exploration, motivation, and goal visualization. The program has domestic camps and overseas camps.
