Road Expansion

With a plan to improve the transportation system in the northern and southern parts of inland, the National Highway #19 project was ordered by the Busan Construction and Management Administration (of MOLIT) and awarded to Woomi as a representative contractor.

We have accumulated experience and expertise in building sustainable roads over the years.

Freeway for Logistics in South

After the industrial complexes were built in the Galsa Free Economic Zone in 2003, the logistic traffic increased rapidly.

The Hadong section in National Highway #19, constructed by Woomi, not only serves as a hub of logistics by connecting Hadong to Namhae but also improves accessibility to Hadong, which has competitive tourism resources, contributing to the local economy.

HIGHWAY FOR
ECONOMIC VITALIZATION

Eco-friendly Road

Unlike a typical straight road, the Hadong section includes curvy roads to harmonize with cherry blossom trees by the Seomjin River, offering drivers beautiful scenery.

To minimize environmental damage, the new two-lane road was elevated above the existing route, and trees were planted along the freeway, forming an attractive sight.
